Mike, I'm saddened to learn about Ian. I'm in the process of losing a loved one myself. It's so difficult and life altering. The kind of love you speak of above does not die. My prayers and thoughts are with your family, for strength, grace and acceptance through this ordeal.

Have patience for life's little disappointments,
And courage for it's great ones.
When you have toiled and the day is done,
go and sleep in peace, God is awake.
